We are currently offering a fixed price of £750 plus VAT and any necessary disbursements for an application for a new Premises Licence.

We can advise and assist in all aspects of licensing.

Since the introduction of the Licensing Act in August 2005 all premises where alcohol is supplied, entertainment is provided or hot food is sold after 11 pm must have a Premises Licence. The person managing the premises also requires a Personal Licence. If you are a publican, hotelier, restauranteur or off-licence proprietor we can assist in the transfer or amendment of an existing Premises Licence or an application for the grant of a new licence.

We can also assist in the application for a Temporary Event Notice to permit the sale of alcohol or the provision of entertainment or supply of hot food and drink after 11pm for one-off events.

If you need assistance in applying for a Personal Licence we can make the application for you. If you are seeking to obtain a Personal Licence you will need to obtain a National Certificate of Personal Licence Holders and we can provide you with details of courses which can be attended in the area.

It may be that your Premises Licence application has been contested by the local authority and if so we can advise and represent you at a local authority licensing sub-committee meeting.

The Gaming Act 2005 came into force in September 2007 and this provides that anyone who wishes to provide facilities for gambling and/or to manufacture, supply, repair or adapt a gaming machine or gambling software must apply for an Operating Licence with the Gambling Commission. If you have a betting shop, bingo hall or simply a pub with gambling machines installed we can assist in obtaining the appropriate licence.
